An animation.
During my internship, I set myself the challenge of creating an animation. It was another moment from my life that I chose to document.
The animation actually started out as an illustration. I had created an illustration of a moment from my life, and I thought: how amazing would it be if I could animate it and bring that moment back to life? I developed this animation as a project during my internship.
The concept was already clear: I wanted to turn my illustration into an animation. I briefly outlined the concept on paper.
I also did a lot of research on how to create an animation, especially on how to animate a walking person, since that seemed quite challenging to me.
I began sketching the animation, experimenting with how different frames could be combined to bring movement to life.
I illustrated the elements I wanted to bring to life in the animation and designed a few GIFs to integrate into After Effects. After that, I brought all the individual elements together and animated them in After Effects.
