About Me
My name is Kim Becker, and I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Breda, Netherlands. I studied Visual Design at Grafisch Lyceum in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a focus on illustration. After graduating, I continued my education at Avans University, pursuing a degree in Communication and Multimedia Design.
I have always been passionate about graphic design, illustration, and creative expression in general. My work is characterized by the use of warm colors, simple shapes, and clean lines. I am also deeply interested in UX/UI design, combining functionality and aesthetics to create intuitive user experiences. Beyond design, I enjoy writing and documenting my thoughts in my notebooks.

At Avans University, studying Communication and Multimedia Design is all about exploring the creative and technical sides of design. I’ve learned how to approach problems from a user-centered perspective, which is especially important in UX/UI design. The program focuses on combining creativity and strategy, teaching me how to create engaging designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

The Presentation Factory
During my six-month internship at The Presentation Factory in Breda, I gained extensive experience in creating presentations using Illustrator. I designed complex presentation slides, focusing on aligning titles, text, photographs, and other elements to create cohesive and visually appealing designs.
